from Marcos' official site:baghdatis.com/articles/view/marcos-chasing-more-stockholm-successMarcos Chasing More Stockholm SuccessMarcos will return to the If Stockholm Open next week, two years after winning the third of his four ATP World Tour titles in the Swedish capital. On his debut at the ATP World Tour 250 indoor tournament in 2009, Marcos defeated Olivier Rochus in the final to lift the trophy. He returns to Stockholm next week unseeded in the 28-man draw, but after a difficult summer, has impressed so far in the autumn. He reached his 11th ATP World Tour final at the Malaysian Open in Kuala Lumpur, and led Andy Murray by a break of serve in the final set of their first-round encounter in Tokyo before succumbing to the World No. 4. In the first round in Stockholm he faces sixth-seeded Canadian Milos Raonic, who continues to make his comeback on the ATP World Tour after undergoing hip surgery over the summer. The No. 31-ranked Raonic has been one of the breakthrough stars of 2011, winning his first ATP World Tour title in San Jose and reaching the final in Memphis. It will be Marcos’ first meeting with the 20 year old. Check out the full singles draw here. Marcos has also entered in the doubles, partnering Argentina’s Juan Martin del Potro for the first time. Unseeded, they will face Americans Scott Lipsky and Rajeev Ram in the first round. Check out the full doubles draw here. Stay tuned to www.baghdatis.com for all the latest news from Stockholm. Go, Marcos!

www.atpworldtour.com/News/Tennis/2011/10/42/Doubles-Monday-Stockholm-Moscow.aspxBaghdatis-Del Potro Prevail In Partnership Debut by ATP Staff | 17.10.2011Marcos Baghdatis and Juan Martin del Potro made their partnership debut Monday at the If Stockholm Open with a 4-6, 7-5, 10-6 win over Americans Scott Lipsky and Rajeev Ram. Baghdatis and del Potro fought off all five break points faced on serve in the second set. It marked the sixth time in their past seven tournament appearances that Lipsky and Ram, champions earlier this year in San Jose and Delray Beach, had bowed out in their opening match. In the only other doubles match Monday, the new pairing of Xavier Malisse and Frank Moser defeated recent Bangkok semi-finalists Paul Hanley and Dick Norman 7-6(4), 6-3.

i started watching the second set onwards. Marcos lost the opening set 7-6(5). then, he won a nail-biting second set tie-break 7-4 to force a decider.
regardless of final result, it was great watching Marcos being a mini break down in the second set tie-break, yet still holding his nerve and fighting. i'm proud of him.

Marcos lost to Milos Raonic 7-6(5) 6-7(4) 6-4.
it was a close match , so Marcos realized he needs to continue to work on closing out tough matches. and yes, Stockholm is a good place to train his brain and exercise his mental muscles.
