This wasn't planned at first but Marcos will play the Zagreb event. He asked for a WC after his loss in Melbourne and got it. From the official site of the tournament: BAGHDATIS GET’S THE THIRD INVITATION 22.1.2007 The Australian Open finalist and Wimbeldon semifinalist, Cyprian tennis player, Marcos Baghdatis was the last one who asked for “wild-card” and got the positive response. The tournament director, Branimir Horvat and tournament co-director, Goran Ivaniševiæ decided to give him the invitation for the main draw.
Beyond tennis players applied for PBZ Zagreb Indoors, there are three players from the top of the world tennis – last year winner Ivan Ljubicic, scotish Andy Murray and finn Jarrko Nieminen, and now there is Baghdatis redy to join them as 11th tennis player at the ATP entry list.
Because of his expressed personality, carismatic 21 years old Cypranian became very popular among all the tournaments that joins and there is no doubt that PBZ Zagreb Indoors is getting even more attractive.www.zagrebindoors.com/indoors.htm

From the site of the tournament, about the match:
Marcos Baghdatis had some problems as well against Canadian with Croatian roots Frank Dancevic but he managed to win in straight sets. Hard-serving Dancevic (pictured) led 4-2 in the first set before Baghdatis raised the level of his game and reached his third quarterfinals in 2007. "After a good start I served badly at 4-2 and played horrible tie-breaker", Dancevic said. "Then I let him play his game". Baghdatis will play either Frenchman Arnaud Clement or Czech Lukas Dlouhy in the quarterfinals on Friday.
