the draw ceremony has already started. Marcos is in the first quarter of the draw and is playing Marin Cilic in the first round, probably Berdych in R16 and Nadal in the quarters. Marcos has a wonderful draw. love it, just love it.

Marcos has a wonderful draw. since Marcos looks to go deep in New York and cause a few upsets, Cincy appears to be the final mental rehearsal for his attack. so, a stark and challenging draw serves the purpose of keeping him awake, unlocking him and moving him out of his comfort zone. a top-class aggressive Marcos going for his shots should take advantage of surprisingly elegant draw... nothing jammy about it...

so, Marcos opens the men's main draw of the W & S Financial Group Masters 2010 on Center Court on Sunday 15 August. reflecting on the symbolic meaning of the day, he drags himself out of his dark mood.

early scare. Cilic serve looks impregnable; he hold to love twice, what service spitting... just hope his concentration slips...
yet, 2-2 and Cilic on serve.

Marcos won the first set 6-4. he should feel buoyant after that, just hope Cilic doesn't try to start making him take a nap...
keep your teeth gritted, Marcos!!!

Marcos breaks Cilic once again. plus, he has faced four break points and still not have his serve broken, marvellous escape that is. and yes, the ball speed on the court is fast with a low bounce height. hehe, Cincy’s fast surface so perfectly suits Marcos' game.

i gather that Cilic looks a little more comfortable now. he's trying to force Marcos to serve to stay in the set...
but, Marcos breaks him once again! yesss. hugely impressed with Marcos' nadalesque mental toughness.

Marcos claims Cilic scalp, 6-4 7-5.
his opponent in the second round will be the winner of the match between Thomaz Bellucci and Benjamin Becker, most likely Ben.
keep your fists clenched, Marcos!!!
