Marcos won 6-3, 3-6, 7-6 (3), 7-5........ and as Marcos' Official Website is late, as always, they've posted this a little while ago :Cyprus Wins Gripping Doubles Tie
Leads Bulgaria 2-1...Marcos and Rares Cuzdriorean were involved in a gripping doubles match Saturday in Sofia, but held their nerve to prevail 6-2, 6-2, 3-6, 4-6, 6-4 against Todor Enev and Dimitar Kutrovsky to give Cyprus a 2-1 lead over Bulgaria in the Davis Cup Group II clash. Victory gave Marcos his 55th Davis Cup victory, an outstanding achievement in his eight-year professional career. He will now have the chance to close out victory for Cyprus when he faces World No. 578 Kutrovsky in the first of the reverse singles rubbers on Sunday. Stay tuned to www.baghdatis.com for all the latest news on Marcos. Go, Cyprus!
