The news has been announced since last June, Marcos will be in Metz for the Open de Moselle next week. This is a very special tournament for me as I've been attending it for some years now, and of course, I'm very happy I'm gonna get to see Marcos play live for the 1st time. Call me naive, but I trust Marcos. He will beat Ivo. Hope you have a great time at Metz. If you posted Marcos' photos here, I would find a way to return the favour. Love "Marcos in action" photos and rarely have the chance to see them.

Well, I will definitely post my pics here Getta. All I hope is that Marcos plays on Monday, because I can't go to Metz on Tuesday because of work. Let's keep our fingers crossed!!

A peine de retour sur le circuit en raison d'une blessure au poignet, l'ancien finaliste de l'Open d'Australie s'est violemment blessé au dos, ce mardi, lors de son match face au géant croate Ivo Karlovic. Baghdatis menait 6/4, 1-2, 30-0, quand il s'est écroulé de douleur après avoir frappé un service. Il a dû abandonner et a été évacué du court central sur une civière... Marcos passera une IRM mercredi pour en savoir plus sur sa blessure. Mais il semble que cela ne soit pas extrêmement grave car après quelques manipulations du kiné, son dos s'est débloqué et il a pu marcher.

Poor Marcos Actually, Marcos felt a sudden violent pain in his back after hitting a serve. Things look more serious than they are. Marcos got manipulated by the trainer and after some time, he could walk again. But he must undergo some medical exams today to check what happened. Really bad luck for him. Get well soon Marcos.

A local newspaper, the Républicain Lorrain, announced yesterday that Marcos's checkup revealed a slipped disc actually but that it's not too serious. He's been adviced to rest for 3 weeks, which means that he should be back for Berçy.
