I'm sad to read that he thinks some of the Frenchies have forgotten him. =( Maybe they have...
And the fact that there's a Basel WC available and he won't be able to go, kinda sucks too if I'm honest.

Hi Nadine - nice to see you here I'm not 100% sure about the rule regarding Wild Cards and Challengers myself, though we were discussing it here earlier, and I think there is no way Marcos could go to Basel However - I do know that if there is any possible loophole n the regulations - Marcos' Team and management will find it!!!!! So I can only hope as I will be in Basel myself and would be great to see him.

According to his official website, Marcos has withdrawn from Chuncheon Challenger and most likely he has checked out for the season.

According to his official website, Marcos has withdrawn from Chuncheon Challenger and most likely he has checked out for the season. Withdrawing from Chuncheon is no surprise. It was never going to make economic sense to go all the way there for one week, after withdrawing from the first Korean tournament. I'm not sure this means the end of Marcos' season though? I think they would have said that clearly on the website, as they did originally when they announced that Chunceon would be his last. Whereas the way I read the phrase we’ll bring you the latest news on his schedule for the remainder of the 2009 season when it has been determined. made me think they were planning one more event before the end of the year. I still think he has a chance for Bercy, if only for quallies WC.
