Marcos shouldn't have any problems winning matches here. I'd like to see a semi between Marcos and Denis Istomin. Denis was among the players that impressed me at Athens challenger last April.

Marcos pulled out of the tournament and has been replaced by a lucky loser, Grigelis.

From the tournament's official site: www.tennischallenger.com/archives/2009/news0906.aspBaghdatis Withdraws Marcos Baghdatis, the 4th seeded player at the LG&T Tennis Challenger, withdrew from the tournament after arriving at the site and completing a practice session. Baghdatis, who arrived in Binghamton from the tournament in Vancouver Canada, at 3:30 Tuesday morning, said he did not want to risk aggravating the injuries he has been fighting to overcome for the past 1 ½ years. Baghdatis was unhappy about being scheduled to play Tuesday night and again Wednesday afternoon ( : , stating that he needed a day of recovery time. ============================================== I prefer not to comment. Just say that Marcos made an embarrassing decision one more time. Hard times for true fans of Marcos... I'd better say, excruciating times ahead...
